How to build an engineering career

As a global technology company, GF is committed to attracting the best talent while contributing to greater diversity in the workplace. On the occasion of International Women's Day 2023, GF showcased the stories of four female colleagues pursuing their careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Now – on the occasion of International Women in Engineering Day– we talk to two colleagues sharing their experiences and talking about inspiration, success and the fascination of the engineering world.

We believe in providing equal opportunities and encourage young female talent to pursue a career in our industry. At GF, diversity refers to accepting and celebrating the rich spectrum of personal and social differences that make each person unique. The importance of this topic is reflected in Sustainability Framework 2025. One of its target says, that 25% of newly appointed managers are women. In 2022, GF was exceeding this target already with 29%.
